In an exciting addition to a stellar line-up of activity to celebrate 40 years of Dreamworld, the park is excited to announce the return of much-loved children’s performers, currently celebrating their 30th anniversary, The Wiggles on the 12th of January at 10:30AM and 12:30PM.
Dreamworld is excited to welcome The Wiggles in their only Gold Coast show this summer, before they set off on a nationwide tour, for two fun-filled shows in the Dreamworld Exhibition Centre, free with entry for Dreamworld guests.
Having performed at Dreamworld in years past, Lachy, Simon and Anthony will be making their return after a pause in 2020. They will be joined by the new Yellow Wiggle, Tsehay Hawkins and other members of the extended Wiggly family who will be performing at Dreamworld for the very first time.
“We know how much our guests love The Wiggles, so it’s fantastic to have them back at Dreamworld after a 2020 pause brought on by COVID restrictions,” said Dreamworld CEO, Greg Yong.
“We’ve worked hard to fill these summer holidays with so much for our guests to do, and we’re proud to be able to add two performances by The Wiggles to our jam-packed summer line-up.”
“The performances are free with Dreamworld admission so we can’t wait to help guests make new memories with The Wiggles at Dreamworld.”
Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins said, “I’m really looking forward to performing at Dreamworld for the first time with The Wiggles. I visited Wiggles World as a child, and always had the best time at the park! It’s going to be a really fun event and we’re all looking forward to performing live again!”
During the special 20-minute live performances at Dreamworld, fans can enjoy all their favourite Wiggles songs such as Hot Potato, Fruit Salad, Do the Propeller, their new hit song, Hey Tsehay, and many more!
Home to the world’s only dedicated Wiggles World precinct, featuring rides, daily shows and character appearances, Dreamworld is the perfect place to catch The Wiggles as they perform some of their most popular songs live on stage.
The performance is included in Dreamworld admission, so families can spend the rest of the day exploring Wiggles World, taking a ride on the Big Red Boat and Dorothy’s Tea Cups.
Children will also have the chance to meet their favourite Wiggles characters throughout the day, including Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword as well as enjoy the variety of other family rides and attractions around the park.
