Dreamworld is about to have a monster summer!

Updated: Jan 12, 2022

In a series of announcements ahead of Christmas, Dreamworld is incredibly excited to share a Summer activation that will take place, free with park entry between 26 December 2020 and 10 January 2021.

Monster Trucks will roar into action in a purpose-built outdoor arena at Dreamworld, offering epic stunts, massive jumps and a whole lot of noise. Delivered by Australia’s premier Monster Truck operators, the show will feature the internationally renowned Outback Thunda truck. The high torque, family friendly show will take place 3 times daily and is free with park entry.

“We’ve performed all over the world but this will be our very first time performing at a theme park – we can’t wait to show Dreamworld’s guests what our trucks are made of and give them an unforgettable show this summer,” Monster Trucks Director, Clive Featherby said.

The performances will be action-packed and offer a fun experience for guests of all age groups. Show duration will be approximately 15 minutes and will be a unique addition to the park’s offering.

“Dreamworld already offers guests such a great range of experiences and we can’t wait to offer one more these summer holidays. We know both our local and interstate guests are keen to get out and enjoy the Gold Coast this summer and we look forward to welcoming them to the show,” Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer, Greg Yong said.

Dreamworld and WhiteWater World are busy preparing for the summer school holidays. Across the two parks, over 160 casual positions have been created for the summer season, contributing to the local economy, and offering valuable employment experiences to Gold Coasters.

In addition to the exciting event taking place these holidays, guests can also look forward to Dreamworld’s Triple Launch Coaster, Steel Taipan which is under construction and opening in 2021.

Local guests can enjoy making memories during a monster summer and beyond with a Locals Annual Pass for only $119. Find out more at dreamworld.com.au.
